Andrew D Foster Animated GIFs These were generated by the 3D modeller I wrote in C++ for my dissertation at Southampton University. All I started with was a graphics driver that could draw lines and points, the UI, 3D calculation and light sourcing was written completely by me. I wanted to include additional lighting (there was only front ambient), reflection and collision detection but ran out of time. This was in the days before 3D graphics cards and drivers such as OpenGL, so I want to reiterate that what you see was completely written by me. Yes they are old and a little too dark, but it demonstrates a lot of the power the modeller possessed. I got a 2-1 for my dissertation.
